Organic growth spurs new hires at Saatchi

Saatchi & Saatchi Canada is pleased to announce four new additions to the Toronto office.
Kelly Finnamore joined us this summer as a copywriter, partnering with Lena Lee in the creative department. Graduating from Mohawk College’s Creative Advertising program this past spring, Kelly most recently interned at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in their Boulder, Colorado office. At Saatchi, Kelly is responsible for Wedding Republic, Toyota Prius, Folgers and CoverGirl. Prior to his career in advertising, Kelly was a private investigator.
Lisa Marie Chen has joined Saatchi as a Senior Strategic Planner and “Sciontist”. As Editor-in-Chief of Scion Magazine, Lisa is responsible for the planning, editing and production of the publication, which focuses on the latest trends in tuning, fashion, art, music and sports. With Saatchi’s Global Planning Director, Mary Mills, she is responsible for delivering consumer insights to our clients to create Lovemarks. A recent graduate of York University’s Schulich MBA program, Lisa is an entrepreneur at heart, having started her own publication in 2006, Blink Magazine, while studying Sociology at the University of Toronto. Lisa was born and raised in Markham, ON.
Danielle Balon is the Media team’s newest addition. As Media Assistant, Danielle’s primary responsibility is working on the long-term Online Campaign for Toyota Canada, from quality checking websites to reporting statistics on campaign performance. Danielle is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Advertising program and was raised in Burlington, ON.
Gerry Chomniak joins Saatchi full-time as an Account Director on the P&G business after several freelancing jobs for the Toronto office during the past two summers. A Saatchi alumnus, Gerry comes with a wealth of experience on brands such as Unilever, Cadbury, Harvey’s, McDonald’s & Air Canada. Prior to rejoining Saatchi, Gerry worked at agencies such as John St., JWT & Cossette.
